The Municipality of Lidlidda, headed by Atty. Sherwin P. Tomas, Municipal Mayor. Hosted the most awaited ceremonial Christmas Tree lighting of the town. Our municipal mayor was elated to see everyone enjoying the event. His message promises growth and prosperity to the people and to the town, as he announced the good news to everyone that our town is now a First Class Municipality. His vision, his plans, his hard work, and his dedication, with the help of everyone who supported him, have now come to fruition. Our Municipality through the earnest effort and leadership of our Municipal Mayor also the Municipal DRRM Council Chairperson, Atty. Sherwin P. Tomas, together with the MDRRM Council members, Lidlidda Search and Rescue (LIDSaRu) and MDRRMO Lidlidda, headed by sir Alexander Aguirre, once again, claimed the Fully Compliant Award, at the 24th Gawad Kalasag Seal and Special Awards for Execellence in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Humanitarian Assistance for CY 2024-Local DRRM Council and Offices Category. The Municipality of Lidlidda, headed by the Municipal Mayor, ATTY. SHERWIN P. TOMAS hosted a simple program to welcome MAYOR KEVIN SUSUICO with his wife Angelica Susuico from Hagat, Guam, USA and MAYOR ANTHONY CHARGUALAF with his wife Angelica Chargualaf from Inalahan, Guam, USA. The Municipal Mayor invited these dignitaries to visit and appreciate the scenery in Lidlidda, as well as to experience the warm hospitality of the people and witness the town’s distinct ethnic identity. The said activity is made to help improve and develop the town through international partnership. Its purpose is to enter into a possible sisterhood or formal relationship to both places to promote cultural, economic, and educational interests and to increase economic interdependence and cooperation. This will also strengthen political collaboration and foster peace and stability.
