This annual event serves as a poignant reminder to honor those we’ve lost to HIV/AIDS, support those living with the virus, and advocate for a future free from stigma and discrimination.
In solidarity with this cause, the LGU organized a candlelight vigil at the Municipal Covered Court, where LGU employees and partner agency employees gathered to pay tribute to the lives affected by HIV/AIDS. The ceremony included heartfelt messages from our Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. James Sacayanan and Dr. Haynedina Gabatin Pascua, Municipal Health Officer, a moment of silence, and the lighting of candles to symbolize hope and resilience.
